Do I need an account?
Yes. An account is required to download and use the OBS plugin. It securely connects your subscription and paired OBS devices.
How do I reset my password?
Open the account portal, enter your email, and select Forgot password. Signed-in members can also request a reset under Account and security.
Where do I manage billing?
Sign in and choose Manage billing. Stripe hosts payment-method, invoice, subscription, upgrade, downgrade, and cancellation controls.
What happens when a requested video is unavailable?
Afterglow tries another playable match and moves forward when no safe replacement is available. It avoids endlessly alternating between failed results.
Can viewers request Spotify links?
Yes. Afterglow reads Spotify track metadata and finds a playable YouTube match for the shared queue. Spotify is not used as the broadcast audio source.
Why is my overlay not visible in OBS?
Confirm the browser source uses your generated overlay URL, refresh the source, and verify the dashboard reports an active streaming client. The overlay appears according to your entrance and visibility timing.
Does Afterglow provide music licenses?
No. Afterglow manages requests, playback controls, and presentation. Streamers remain responsible for music rights and platform policies.
Does the OBS plugin work without internet?
Account verification and cloud controls require internet. A recently verified paid entitlement can remain cached briefly, but live account, queue, and pairing features need the service.
